Galleri® multi-cancer early detection test

The Galleri® test screens for a signal shared by more than 50 types of cancer with a single blood draw*. At Live Healthy Hydrate in Cincinnati, Galleri testing includes an in-person consultation with our team of certified nurse practitioners and registered nurses.

Galleri testing requires an established primary care provider who can follow up with you if your result shows a cancer signal. We’ll confirm your provider’s information ahead of your test.

*The Galleri test does not detect a signal for every cancer. False positive and false negative results can occur. Galleri should be used alongside the cancer screenings your healthcare provider recommends.

Screening for cancers that often start without symptoms

Many cancers cause no symptoms in their early stages. The Galleri test was developed by GRAIL, Inc. a healthcare and life sciences company. It is designed to find a cancer signal early, including signals from cancer types that have no recommended screening test today. An early signal gives you and your care team more time to plan the next step.

How does the Galleri test work?

Cancer cells shed small fragments of DNA into the bloodstream. The fragments carry patterns that can act like a fingerprint for cancer. The Galleri test looks for that fingerprint in your blood sample.
When the test finds a cancer signal, it also predicts where in the body the signal most likely came from. The predicted location helps guide follow-up testing.

Galleri looks for signs of cancer that may already be present. It does not test for inherited genes or predict your future risk of cancer.

Cancer types the Galleri test screens for

The Galleri test screens for a signal shared by more than 50 types of cancer. GRAIL’s studies detected cancer signals in people with many cancer types, including:

  • Breast
  • Colon and rectum
  • Lung
  • Pancreas
  • Liver
  • Ovary
  • Prostate
  • Stomach and esophagus
  • Lymphoma and leukemia

Detection rates vary by cancer type and stage. A cancer on this list can still go undetected.

Where Galleri fits in your screening routine

Keep up with the mammograms, colonoscopies and other cancer screenings your doctor recommends. Galleri is designed to be used alongside them.

Like any screening test, Galleri has limits. The test does not detect a signal for every cancer and can return false positive or false negative results.

Who should consider the Galleri test?

The Galleri test is recommended for adults with a higher risk for cancer, such as adults age 50 and older. Our clinical team can review your health and family history with you to decide whether Galleri is a good fit.

The test is not recommended for people who:

• Are pregnant
• Are 21 years old or younger
• Are in active cancer treatment

Understanding your Galleri results

Your result comes back as either “No Cancer Signal Detected” or “Cancer Signal Detected.” Our clinical team reviews it with you alongside your health history and explains what comes next.

No Cancer Signal Detected

This result means the test found no cancer signal in your sample. It does not rule out cancer. Stay on schedule with your routine screenings and ask our team about testing again next year.

Cancer Signal Detected

This result means the test found a signal that needs follow-up. It also includes a prediction of where in the body the signal came from.

A signal is not a diagnosis. Diagnostic testing, such as imaging, is needed to confirm whether cancer is present. Our team will talk you through the result and help you plan next steps.

Galleri Cancer Screening FAQs

What is the Galleri test?

The Galleri test is a multi-cancer early detection blood test made by GRAIL. It looks for DNA that cancer cells shed into the bloodstream and screens for a signal shared by more than 50 types of cancer. When it finds a signal, it also predicts where in the body the signal likely came from.

Galleri is designed to be used alongside the cancer screenings your doctor recommends, such as mammograms and colonoscopies. The test does not detect every cancer. Keep up with your usual screening schedule. Our team can help you see where Galleri fits in your routine.

The Galleri test is available today by prescription. It has not yet been cleared or approved by the FDA. In September 2026, an FDA advisory panel voted in favor of the test. The FDA makes the final call, with a decision expected in the coming months. GRAIL’s lab is CLIA-certified and accredited by the College of American Pathologists.

Galleri testing at Live Healthy Hydrate is $1,200. Your test comes with a complimentary telehealth screening, valid for one calendar year, plus 50% off your IV (excludes NAD+ IV). Call 513-871-5550 to confirm current pricing and what’s included with your visit.

Medicare and other insurers generally do not cover the Galleri test yet. Broader coverage depends largely on full FDA approval, which is still pending. You may be able to use HSA or FSA funds. Check with your plan administrator to confirm. Medicare and other insurers generally do not cover the Galleri test yet. Broader coverage depends largely on full FDA approval, which is still pending. GRAIL does not recommend the test for people who are pregnant, are 21 or younger, or are in active cancer treatment. Galleri is intended for adults with a higher risk for cancer, such as those age 50 and older. Our team can help you decide whether the test is a good fit.

A Cancer Signal Detected result means you need follow-up diagnostic testing, such as imaging, to find out whether cancer is present. The result on its own is not a diagnosis. It includes a predicted location for the signal, which helps guide that testing. Our team will walk you through the result and your next steps.

GRAIL designed the Galleri test so it can be taken once a year. A yearly Galleri test works alongside the screenings your doctor already recommends. Talk with our team about timing that fits your health history and current screening schedule.
